Hout Bay in half a day

Enjoy the beautiful views while driving along the Coast to Hout Bay where you will hear about it’s fascinating history. Once there you have an  opportunity of  taking a boat trip to see Duiker Island, better known as Seal Island where there is a male colony of seals.  You may prefer to visit the World of Birds where there is an amazing array of bird life, from Penguins to Ostriches and just about everything imaginable in between and other creatures like Bat Eared Foxes and Primates.

Alternatively you may enjoy a tour through a factory which makes all sorts of ornaments out of Tea Bags. Yet another choice is a Ceramics factory where they make incredible African Pottery.  Both factories are very community based initiatives and value the support they receive from overseas visitors.
